ARTICLE:North Korea Has a New Supreme Leader - I Have a Problem With That Title

It appears that the international media, global community, and diplomatic community are tip-toeing over the death and passing of the torch in North Korea. "Kim Jong Il is dead, long live Kim Jong Un," who is now running the country. Okay so, I get that, and understand that is how things are done there, and good for them. Kim Jong Un has taken a new title; "Supreme Leader" - whoops, I think I have a problem with that. You see, anyone who studies their history knows this is not so good. And let's not even bring up the "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" - Lord Acton motif.
Let me tell you why I have a problem with that title. In NAZI Germany Hitler took the title of Fuhrer, or Supreme Ruler. History called him the Supreme Leader of the NAZI Regime. In Iran, they have a Supreme Leader also, one who is well above even Iranian's main instigator and propaganda organizer in chief; Ahmadinejad, the Iranian President.
Now then, it's hard to say if the Western Media has labeled Kim Jong Un "the Supreme Leader" or if this is the most accurate translation for their language, nevertheless, it's a spooky omen if you ask me. Are we all being set-up, is this foreshadowing, are we getting the world populations ready for WW III or an attempt at such? Who knows what? Is this North Korea, Iran, and their quasi-allies giving us a warning that they are prepared, have their populations completely on-board with nationalism to give us all a war like NAZI Germany did?
The way I see it, we don't need any more nations with Supreme Leaders, especially rogue nations which are already threatening the world with nuclear weapons. The problem with having a 27-year-old supreme leader in charge of the country, a dictatorship no less, is it is far too easy for them to make irrational decisions based on limited information, and surrounded by nationalistic and militaristic advisers. It really is time for North Korea to bury the hatchet, if they really want to be great again, and if Kim Jong Un truly wishes to make a dent in history and leave a legacy for his country.
Apparently, much of the previous negotiations with North Korea were obviously not worth the paper they were written on, but they also ended up unilateral. The United States gave gifts and concessions, and the North Koreans gave us falsehoods, promises, and lies. And then they gave other rogue regimes the gift of nuclear proliferation. The reality is humans on this planet don't need any more of that nonsense, and although many wish to take a wait-and-see attitude, sometimes the best opportunity to take action is during the chaos of change management.
Indeed, I'm not going to tell you what I mean by that, but you can infer anything you wish with regards to my recommendations to do what's right, for the right reasons, and for the future of global peace. Please consider all this and think on it.
